Good times. Good vibes. Good company.

19 November, 2018

We kicked things off in style the morning after with a birthday brunch at The Fairmont Copley Plaza where Lina got to order her first legal drink--a Domaine Chandon Rosé (I swear I didn't tell her what to order!!) and indulged in Mexican chocolate donuts to start, as per the birthday princess' request, followed up by lobster Eggs Benedict & my "Bloom" version of Eggs Benny with prosciutto.  Lina nipped to the loo at one point and upon her return, could not contain her excitement over having met the Hotel dog on her way.  I don't know who actually owns this sweet nugget but apparently there is a black Labrador who's got fluffy pillow beds throughout the hotel and just runs the damn show.  We attempted to say hello but the poor thing was just so done with humans and given her role, I can't blame her!!  Hospitality isn't easy for humans so why would that be any different for a beautiful doggo?

Thankfully neither of us spent a surplus of time doing our hair and makeup before brunch as we wound up getting absolutely drenched like wet rats out in the 50 mph wind and rain, umbrella shattered and rendered useless against the force of the storm.  I realise how dramatic that sounds but straight up, I have never seen weather like that before, never mind being caught out in it!! After braving the horrid weather, we decided to continue to test our courage, entering the Halloween City store along with the rest of Boston in a desperate attempt to secure final items for our costumes.  From there, a bit of work for one and a kip for another was on the to-do list for the remainder of the afternoon until we prepared ourselves for the Halloween party later that evening.

You deserved to feel like a princess sweet girl, I hope we accomplished as much.  I can't believe you're 21 now...Oh, oh we are now limitless.
