Good times. Good vibes. Good company.

Clear Headed

The 17th. of June marked my last month in London as well as our second Father's Day without Daddy by our side in the same way he was before.

It still hasn't sunk in that I'm meant to move away from my lovely London but in cases like these, it rarely hits me, even once I'm on the plane off to another destination.  I'm looking forward to spending some  time in Denmark with family and friends before embarking on a new adventure Stateside once more but man am I gonna miss this place.

I didn't do much on the 17th. for Father's Day except get a big ass Gin & Tonic in honour of Daddy and spent a few hours with my girls after we began taking stuff down from the walls in the flat--paintings, frames, TV', so strange to see it all changing bit by bit.

I'm want to make the most of my time here so, as aforementioned, I'm trying to get out of Fulham and see some more of the city.  Emma came along for one of my excursions where we hopped off and walked around Knightsbridge (house hunting, clearly) before making our way through Hyde Park and to Kensington Palace and Gardens, stopping for lunch at The Ivy.  We both had the crab, watermelon and avocado to start over some Champagne followed up with an amazing steak for me and a chicken dish for Emma.  From there we wandered around Whole Foods to pick up some picnic worthy goodies and headed to Holland Park to for some R&R over cheese and crackers, wine, hummus and veg & some sweet and salty bits before heading back home to good 'ol Fulham for a glass of wine at Bloom.

I can't remember the last time I had such a nice day where my mind was just fully in the present and clear.  Big thanks to you sweet girl for making it so wonderful :*

Hope you're all well!
