A London Snowfall

On the 10th. of December, London woke up to a beautiful snowy morning.  I could not have been any more excited, literally shouting out for Mads to come help me get in my snow boots so that I could go out and 'play' on my way to the day's first brunch.  It was impressive enough the first time, never-mind the second, third and fourth rounds of snowfall we received, all becoming progressively heavier and longer-lasting than the previous.  I was definitely not the only person gleaming with joy at the falling snow, opting for the route through the park on my way to Bloom just so that I could see the dogs' reactions, old & young.

Sofia, Emma & I met up for prezzies and in the case of Sofia and I, goodbyes & best holidays wishes over a bit of coffee and egg-based brekkie.  Sofia gave me a gorgeous pair of silver stud earrings and she received a sweet mug from her favourite Disney movie, Beauty & The Beast from Emma as well who unfortunately, was going to have to wait a bit longer for her Christmas present as it didn't come in time.  Annndddd I GOT A STITCH BLANKET, I GOT A STITCH BLANKET, I GOT A STITCH BLANKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...incase every man, woman, & child that I damn-near stopped on the street to share that information with wasn't aware, I proceeded to prance around in it.

Emma and I continued onwards to where else but TKH to kill some time  avoid being productive until heading to Adam's birthday brunch in Chelsea (it was not a birthday weekend...it was a birthday week*).  Although we wound up only being there for half of the evening's events the night prior, at least we bloody made it to the brunch!! Firstly, it didn't start until three o'clock in the afternoon and secondly, what isn't motivating about the promise of food after a night on the town?!  Although it was just us two ladies, Adam, & his gorgeous friend Nicole, we enjoyed our bottomless brunch (yes, you read that right) enough to continue on to another two bars thereafter.  If that's not a Sunday as it's meant to be done, I don't want to know what is!!
