Good times. Good vibes. Good company.

The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music

The local flea market beckoned us like a siren to a sailor so after a scrumptious Danish breakfast, us girls headed out on the hunt I picked up four pieces of jewellery in less than 10 min. (I know what I want, what can I say?) being the only one out of us three who found anything that met her fancy there.  I found two silver rings, a new elegant silver bangle (slightly thinner and shinier than the one I usually always wear these days) and a pair of handmade dark grey and silver earrings.  We continued onwards to this giant warehouse building that's now been rented out to use for yet another second-hand shopping experience with a fresh, cool new concept.

The way it works is that anyone who wants to sell their things (anything!) contacts them and pays 200 or 250 kr. (I don't recall which but perhaps the prices vary based on how much space you need) for a "stall" that's setup with individual prices for all of the items as well as a unique number attached to them all as well as the stall itself so that way the different sellers' items don't get mixed in with each other.

I found a classic black blazer, two pairs of completely new shoes in my size (a pair of light beige suede combat boots (drool) and a beautiful leather/suede pair of Spanish court heels) and the most beautiful dark brown and gold clutch handbag.  I was buzzin' all damn day from this successful of a shopping excursion.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times: no one in Denmark could possibly ever have issues furnishing their homes or staying stylish with the amount of fantastic items available for reasonable if not laughably low prices at places like this!

Lina and Pernille were more successful here as well picking up two new white and blue summer dresses, perfect for island hopping and a couple of books.

Not long thereafter, a second adventure...Might I present to you just a few casual shots of the so-so Danish countryside that Northern Sjælland has to offer (inclusive of me dancing in the wind)...

Or rather, our attempt trek on in the most obscenely windy conditions without falling off of a cliff in the most breathtakingly beautiful spot our lovely auntie & uncle decided to share with us.

Denmark, you never cease to amaze me with your beauty.

Stay tuned for part 2 of our rather adventurous second day in the coming post :*
Thanks for checking in here on SMITR!! Big love!!

P.S. Incase you're wondering where the amazingly warm, comfy, giant, fluffy jacket I'm pictured in is from, it is indeed my new "summer jacket" from Missguided.

Once a ballerina, always a ballerina XD
