32 Yolks: A review

If you aren't a foodie when you pick up this book, you will be when you put it down.
I find it unimaginable that anyone could, after reading this, regardless of their previous experiences, standpoints, or even interest regarding the culinary world could find themselves with anything but mass amounts of respect for it and the amazing people within it.  I

have an incredible amount of respect and awe for chefs--the long, physically and mentally strenuous hours, their attention to detail, the artistry in their work, and above all, their sheer love of food.

I've been very fortunate with the culinary experiences I've been exposed to in my short life and am extremely thankful for the love, respect and admiration of food and cooking both of my parents instilled in me that continues to evolve and grow.

This book is beautifully written, with a detailed and emotional storyline that flows seamlessly--a real page-turner!!

I realised around the half-way mark that this would be a book I would unquestionably read again not just to look up the terms used, recipes listed, and inspirational quotes but just for the sake of enjoying an impeccably written book once more.

If they're not found amongst my Father's extensive book collection (which would, given how big of an Eric Ripert fan he was, be a bit shocking), his other works will be picked up ASAP!!

Get it here.
No, seriously...get it.
