Summer 2016: Makeup Purchases

Nothing too crazy but I was running low on a few of my products and thought my brushes needed some new company, enter: the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and Stippling Brush, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hr. Foundation, Antastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (light/medium), Art Deco Clear Lash & Brow Gel, and Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original.

So far, I'm not at all a fan of the sponge, which is a let down because I've heard so many great things about it...maybe I'm just not using it correctly (likely).  The stippling brush is a dream!! I've quickly started using Real Techniques as my makeup brush-go to alongside Eco Tools.  I've been using this foundation for about a year now and I'm quite content with it so I don't dare try anything new haha

I'd heard fabulous review for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and so far I've very pleased with it!  The only thing I'd say that I don't like about it is because I've been used to my hi-lighter having a bit of shimmer in it (Sleek Makeup Contour Kit) which I feel really adds to the goal of my look.

I didn't think I'd like the brow gel as much as I do, just because I never saw the purpose for it before...I see now.

I've only used Urban Decay's Primer Potion once now and I will say that my eye makeup lasted longer and didn't smudge as much as it tends to do otherwise.  With this, I'd say the look didn't require the little touch-ups I usually do if it's going to be a long day/night either so, thumbs up here!
