Coral Lips And Metallic Eyes

We all know that beauty isn't exactly my area of expertise (enter: Lina...who's had a very busy year and if we're all lucky, just might start posting on SMITR again with all of her lovely tips!) but I do my best to work with what I've got!

Hair is pretty simple.  I rarely put in any actual effort to make it look good and just go with the flow!! This is mainly because I'm hopeless at it.  No, really.  My boyfriend knows how to do a French braid and I don't!! Failure of a girl sometimes...

I use Moroccan oil on the lower half of my hair after washing it and then put it up in a bun before bed so to give it some volume and, if I'm lucky, curls for the day following.  Works better with longer hair--deeper, better curls but length-wise I can't do much at the moment since I'm currently opposed to using extensions, much as I do miss my long hair! This awkward "lob" length is starting to get on my nerves :P

Makeup-wise I've used the lightest brown in my massive Nyx makeup kit for contouring and a darker brown from the eyeshadows included for my brows, Tarte's Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation (in fair honey) to give an even base to my exceedingly Vampire-esc. skin colour, "Devotion" (gold) and "Fiery" (rose gold) from MUA's Undress Me Too eyeshadow palette (LOVE! Bought one for Lina for Christmas and snatched one up myself....colours were too pretty resist and I needed a new eyeshadow palette anyways!), Chanel Paris liquid eyeliner (#10), L'Oreal's amazing Voluminous Million Lashes Excess mascara, some white eyeliner on the bottom rim of my eyes, and finally, I dabbed some of Rimmel's Pink Fame (210) on the middle of my lips and added my random find, a Lancome Juicy Tube lipgloss in a darkish red (sorry, the name and number have worn off :( ) all over.

The end result below!

xxEm
