Goodwill/World Market Haul (November 2014): A post by Lina

There is something about waking up early on the weekends. I hate it. But then my eyes actually open, I put in #DACLIP (Essiebutton anyone?!) and topple over to open my window panes. With my hands on the handles, I remember why I am awake

These Saturday mornings are joined with one of my bestest buddies (BriyoncĂ©, as I like to call her) and have actually become a monthly tradition.  If some of you do not know what Goodwill is, it is a massive chain of thrift stores that frequently has sales on already majorly reduced items.

**I claim no rights or ownership to/of the above image.  All rights go to their original owners.**

After our thrifting session, my dad picked me up and we drove on down to The World Market, a store who's name in itself is pretty self-explanatory.  The best part was that all candles were 25% OFF so you better believe I stocked up for Fall and Winter of 2014.  I hope you enjoy the array of goodies I picked up this past Saturday, as the items range from Kate Middleton to Mexican Pumpkin (I swear that will
make more sense).

Da shoes doe: These black suede, bootie babes would make my sister proud. I think. (BIG SISSY APPROVED!!! xxEm)  At 6 inches tall they are more comfortable than I ever imagined, and a great bargain at just $9.99.

Black Velvet Tank: Holiday season is velvet season (red velvet hot chocolate included). I can chuck this on in the mornings to feel festive while keeping my “black makes anything better” senior attitude. Priced at $3.99.

Purple One-Shoulder Dress: I was attending a Sports Banquet that upcoming Friday, and snatched it right up as I had seen it on Forever 21’s last holiday season! Very Effie Trinket inspired but also an elegant eggplant.  Those two words do go together seamlessly. Priced at $4.99.

Royal Blue Jacket with Gold Buttons: See what I mean by Kate Middleton?! ;) Priced at $2.99.

Black T-Shirt: Men’s section. American Apparel. Black. Oversized. Gotta love it. Priced at $2.99.

Blue Sparkley Knit Tank Top: Another festive piece, what more is there to say? With some black leggings and booties this top can be toned-down and classy as I prance around town pretending I am a Christmas Tree ornament. Priced at $3.99.

The World Market
Candle scents include: Indonesian Teak Wood, Mexican Pumpkin, Asian Poppy and Indian Sandal Wood

P.S. I had to is a photo of the fully-bloomed Peruvian Lilies my sister and Mads sent to me for my 17th. birthday… LAST.MONTH.
