This City Never Sleeps

Hello hello!

Amidst application after application in preparation for uni I've managed to edit the few pictures I have from my little escape to Copenhagen!

Hopefully I'll be able to crank out a few more posts for you ever-so patient lovelies in the duration of this week inclusive of everything from the knockout page-views, style inspirations of the moment, and some random pictures I've got from this summer vacation :)

I know "Smoke In The Rain" has been a bit all over the place lately, apologies! It seems as though my blog, much like my room/closet, seems to mimic my mental state of mind! :P

The entire visit to "the big city" was incredibly impromptu. I was feeling impulsive and the realisation had just sunk in that it was going to be one of my last opportunities to see some of the people over in CPH before my move to London in early September.

The trip over there seemed never-ending in the obscene and unexpected heat that uncharacteristically came to Denmark this summer, so once I saw Emma and her adorable baby boy, Woody Allen, walking outside their stunning flat, I was ready to collapse into her arms on the spot and just.breathe.

After enjoying the shade and the amusement that the incredibly well-trained Woody had to offer, Emma and I prepped for our first night out inclusive of us two, and the nearest and dearest from our Herlufsholm group who coincidentally enough, also happened to be in Copenhagen! Grabbed a few drinks with flatmate, Christina, at the bar near her delicious diner (Nose2Tail), and met up with the rest for an amazing (note: interesting) night out! Only downside?! My precious leather jacket is no longer in my possession :(

The following days were filled with sushi & gossip dates, tanning in the park, wild nights out, Thai food and movies, as well as quite a few memorable sing alongs in the car ;) Louise and her sister were shockingly enough ALSO in Copenhagen so I managed to meet up with them to celebrate my official acceptance from the University of Westminster. Another lovely addition to this trip was that I got to see a friend of mine that I haven't seen in ages! Oscar and his friend Bileam were in town from Berlin. Memorable, to say the least.

Before I blab on and on and my thoughts become less coherent than they already are...PICTURE TIME!
